About me
Hello! I’m a Product Designer based out of British Columbia, Canada, with an extensive background in user experience, interface, and interaction design for web products and native applications.
I’ve created experiences spanning across industries including transportation, e-commerce, productivity, enterprise, and news media, and worked at some of the largest (and smallest) businesses in the world. My diverse experience gives me the ability to quickly adapt to different operating models and gain deep understanding of new product spaces.
I’ve lead teams, been an individual contributor, and played a variety of roles to help move projects forward and deliver best-in-class experiences. This includes finding new opportunities for product innovation, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional partners, working with stakeholders and C-level executives to gain alignment on goals, relentlessly testing and iterating concepts, writing copy, and working closely with engineers to ensure top quality results.

My recent work
Facebook & Instagram
The Facebook & Instagram channel is a third-party integration with Shopify that allows businesses to sell products on Meta surfaces. I designed a number of core experiences in the app to improve adoption, mitigate churn, and drive seller success.
The Problem with Jon Stewart
The Problem is a talk show on Apple TV+ with Jon Stewart. As the lead UX designer on this project I was responsible for designing the promo page, sitemap, interaction model, and assisted with visual design.
Writeway
Writeway is an innovative content creation platform for writers. As the lead product designer, I created most of the core experiences, carried out usability research, and lead a team of six designers.
HOPR Transit
HOPR Transit is a native iOS and Android app for bike and scooter sharing. I designed the end-to-end experience, including the UX architecture, interaction model, user interface, subscription funnel, and conducted usability research.
My philosophies
UX design
A fantastic user experience is at the core of any great design. I believe that by making data-driven decisions and prioritizing user needs, we can craft the best experience possible and solve real-world problems. It all starts with great communication and planning.
Prototyping
Mockups and design documentation aren’t always enough to convey the behaviour of a given feature. I have considerable experience building interactive prototypes with Figma, giving the team a chance to play with features in advance and fine-tune the experience before building it.
UI design
A great user interface establishes trust between the user and the product. With a background in Graphic Design, I am able to tailor the look and feel of the design to any audience while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and branding.
Leadership
Respect, humility, and trust are essential for fostering a healthy team environment. If expectations are communicated and responsibilities are delegated, everyone has the opportunity to succeed. We can design a fantastic product and have fun doing it!
UX research
Gathering usability data is a cornerstone of the design process, providing invaluable data to aide decision making. I have conducted numerous studies, such as usability tests and user interviews, which required planning, practice, and precision.
Delivery
Thorough design documentation and well-organized deliverables help ensure a smooth delivery, but it doesn’t end there — close communication with developers, and an agile, iterative development process allows us to build great products together.
